How to Count Your Youtube Subscribers

If you’re a content creator on YouTube, knowing how many youtube subscribers you have is important. It helps you determine whether your videos are getting noticed by people outside of your immediate circle, and gives you an idea of how popular you may eventually become. Additionally, having a large subscriber base is often a requirement for collaborating with brands, as they want to ensure that the people watching their advertisements are interested in what they’re selling.

You can view your subscribers on the YouTube app by tapping your profile icon (probably located in either the upper-right or upper-left corner of the screen) and selecting Your Channel. Alternatively, you can visit your YouTube home page on the desktop website and see your number of subscribers at the top of the page.

Note that you can only see subscribers that have chosen to make their subscriptions public. It’s possible to change this in your Account Settings.

Aside from your total subscriber count, you can also see how many of them are actively viewing your videos in real time by clicking the “active viewers” tab. This will show you the number of views and average watch time for all of your videos, broken down by country and date range.

You can increase your subscribers by giving people a reason to visit and interact with your video channels. This can be done by having a compelling “About” section, and linking your YouTube channel to your social media profiles so people can find you more easily. You can also add links to your videos that lead directly to playlists of related content, and you should always respond to viewer comments. youtube subscribers
